What this site is, where its numbers come from, and what we will not do.
BikeDokan lists motorcycle prices and specifications for Bangladesh. At the moment that is 205 models across 34 brands, and it is growing week by week.
Where the numbers come from
Prices and specifications come from manufacturers and their Bangladeshi distributors: their own published figures, not a competitor's copy of them. Where we hold a figure, the spec table on the bike's page shows exactly what the manufacturer printed, in the manufacturer's own wording, so you can check it against their site if you want to.
Every price on this site is ex showroom, and every one carries the date it was last confirmed. Where a price has not been checked in over a year we say so on the page rather than letting it sit there looking current. Some of the older records on this site date from 2022 and are marked accordingly. We would rather tell you a number is stale than have you walk into a showroom with it.
What we do not do
We do not sell motorcycles, we do not take a commission on one, and no manufacturer pays to be moved up a list here. Where a page is sorted by price, price is the only thing sorting it.
We have not ridden these motorcycles. Nothing on this site claims a road test, an ownership period, a service history or a reliability record, because we have none of those and inventing them would make everything else here worthless. What we can do is read the manufacturer's figures carefully and tell you what they actually mean, including when two spec sheets from the same company disagree with each other.
Where a field is blank, we leave it blank. A specification we do not have is not a specification we guess.
Corrections
If a price here is wrong, or a specification does not match the manufacturer's own sheet, tell us and we will check it and fix it. Here is how to reach us.
