Aprilia SR 125 Storm
124 cc scooter motorcycle in Bangladesh
Key figures
"For the class" means measured against the 102 other bikes on this site within 40 cc of this one. It is arithmetic against our own catalogue, not an opinion, and it changes as the catalogue grows.
What this bike is
The SR 125 Storm is the only SR on Runner's list with drums at both ends, the front one tied to a combined braking system, and it costs Tk 1,200 more than the SR 125 CBS, which has a 220 mm front disc. What the Storm offers instead is a different stance: 12 inch wheels with 120/80 and 130/80 tyres against the other SRs' 120/70-14s, and a body 806 mm wide. Power, 118 kg and 6 litres match the CBS. Its engine figures, 7.30 kW and 9.60 Nm, are the Vespa VXL 125 CBS's exactly, and the Vespa costs Tk 1,19,600 more.
Who it suits. Buyers who want the Storm's look and smaller, fatter tyres, and accept drum brakes to have it.
Written in September 2026 from Aprilia's own published figures, which are in the specification table on this bike's spec page. We have not ridden it and we do not pretend to have.
Good and less good
Against it
- Small for the class at 6 litres.
- Aprilia does not mention ABS on its own specification sheet for this model, so we cannot confirm it either way.
Every point here is read off the manufacturer's published figures or off a comparison with the other bikes on this site. None of it comes from riding the motorcycle, because we have not.
