What this bike is
The cheapest Gixxer is also the one Suzuki quotes at the most power: 14.8 PS, against 14.1 for the standard Gixxer, which costs Tk 32,000 more. It is 6 kg lighter too, at 135 kg. What the standard bike adds on paper is an LED headlight in place of halogen and a 64 km per litre claim, which the Monotone's sheet does not make. Its obvious rival is Yamaha's FZS V2, Tk 28,050 dearer, quoted at 13.2 PS with discs at both ends. Suzuki's sheet for the Monotone gives no brake details, so ask what is fitted.
Who it suits. Riders who want a Gixxer for the least money and the highest quoted power, and will confirm the brakes.
