What this bike is

On paper the GSX 125 is a better buy than the Yamaha Saluto: Tk 21,550 cheaper, quoted at 10.45 PS against 8.3, with a five speed gearbox and a 14.2 litre tank to the Saluto's four gears and 7.6 litres. The Saluto is 13 kg lighter. The closer contest is Runner's Turbo 125, Tk 13,050 dearer, with slightly more power, slightly more fuel and a hydraulic front disc on its sheet. Suzuki's sheet gives no brake details for the GSX at all, but does claim 60 km per litre, which Runner does not publish for the Turbo.

Who it suits. Commuters who want a big tank and a published mileage claim, and will confirm the brakes at the dealer.
