What this bike is
Read the FZ-X as the FZS V4 with a different body and a trade. For Tk 1,000 more in its cheapest colour, Yamaha lists Bluetooth connectivity, a power socket and LED lighting. In return its tank shrinks from 13 litres to 10, among the smallest of any naked bike here, its seat rises from 790 mm to 810, and it gains 3 kg. Engine output, ABS and traction control are unchanged. Whether that is a good trade depends on what the connectivity is worth to you against a shorter tank.
Who it suits. Riders who want the retro FZ styling and phone connectivity, and will live with a smaller tank and a taller seat.
