What this bike is
The Dio is Honda's only scooter in Bangladesh and sits between two rivals on price. Suzuki's Access 125 costs Tk 15,950 more for a larger 124 cc engine quoted at 8.58 bhp against the Dio's 8.11 PS, at almost the same weight, 102 kg against 103, and a slightly smaller tank. Runner's Skooty 125 costs Tk 30,000 less, is quoted at 9.66 bhp and has a front disc, but weighs 9 kg more. The Dio has 130 mm drums at both ends with a combined braking system, 10 inch tubeless tyres and a 5.3 litre tank.
Who it suits. Scooter buyers who want a light Honda automatic and are content with drum brakes.
