What this bike is

Before buying the standard Gixxer, look at the two bikes either side of it. The Gixxer Monotone costs Tk 32,000 less, is 6 kg lighter and is quoted at more power, 14.8 PS. Yamaha's FZS V2 costs Tk 3,950 less, is 8 kg lighter and lists discs at both ends. What the Gixxer offers against both is an LED headlight, a claimed 64 km per litre and a fuel system Suzuki lists as injection or carburettor. Its own sheet also gives two power figures, 14.1 PS in one row and 13.6 PS in another, so ask which applies.

Who it suits. Riders who want the standard Gixxer for its headlight and mileage claim, after comparing the Monotone and FZS V2.
