What this bike is
The value end of the FZS family, and the one question to settle is whether ABS matters to you. The FZS V4 costs Tk 60,500 more and what its sheet adds is single channel ABS and traction control; on engine output the V2 is actually quoted higher, 13.2 PS against 12.4, and it is 3 kg lighter. At 133 kg the V2 is the lightest of Yamaha's 149 cc bikes, and unlike the dearer Fazer Fi V2 it keeps a disc at the rear. Its nearest rival is Suzuki's Gixxer at almost the same price.
Who it suits. Riders who want the FZS for the lowest price and have decided ABS is not worth another Tk 60,500 to them.
