The oldest FZS still on sale here and, on paper, the most powerful of the air cooled 149 cc ones at 13.2 bhp. It also undercuts the V4 by a considerable margin. What it gives up is torque, 12.8 Nm against the V4's 13.3, and Yamaha does not state ABS for it. It is 133 kg, the lightest of the FZS family, which is worth something in traffic.
Who it suits. Riders who want the FZS shape and the most horsepower per taka in the family, and who are willing to go without a stated ABS system.
