Taro Ranger
165 cc naked sports motorcycle in Bangladesh
Key figures
"For the class" means measured against the 91 other bikes on this site within 40 cc of this one. It is arithmetic against our own catalogue, not an opinion, and it changes as the catalogue grows.
What this bike is
The Ranger is quoted at 21.5 BHP and 18 Nm from 164.9 cc, the most power of any 165 cc bike on this site, ahead of Lifan's 17 BHP 165s and Bajaj's Pulsar N160 at 15.78 bhp. Taro lists dual channel ABS with a 300 mm front and 240 mm rear disc, a 160 section rear tyre, six gears, a 790 mm seat and a 10.5 litre tank. The cost is weight: 180 kg net, 26 kg more than the N160. Taro publishes no price. Note that Taro's sheets for its other models carry filler values, so confirm the Ranger's figures with the dealer as well.
Who it suits. Riders who want the most quoted power in a 165 with ABS, and accept a heavy bike for it.
Written in September 2026 from Taro's own published figures, which are in the specification table on this bike's spec page. We have not ridden it and we do not pretend to have.
