Suzuki Gixxer 250 Mileage
What this bike actually returns, and what the manufacturer claims. The two are rarely the same.
A 249 cc oil cooled naked quoted at 26.5 PS, which is roughly double what the 155 cc Gixxer makes. That is a genuinely different motorcycle rather than a bigger badge, and on the highway it shows. ⛔ Before anything else: a 250 sits above the 165 cc ceiling that applies to imported motorcycles in Bangladesh. Larger locally assembled machines have been permitted more recently, but the rules have changed more than once. Get the dealer's registration position in writing and confirm it with BRTA before you pay.
On a full 12 litre tank at 36 kmpl, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 should cover about 432 km between fills. Real figures depend on traffic, load and how hard it is ridden, and Dhaka traffic in particular pulls this down.
