Three families, one motor

Prices and specifications come from greentiger.com.bd, Green Tiger's own shop. Every two wheeler it lists is rated at 1,000 W and quoted at 50 km/h, so the families differ in battery, range and warranty rather than speed:

• JR Lite, Tk 84,000 to Tk 91,900: a 60 V 20 Ah lead acid battery of about 1,200 Wh and 60 to 65 km.
• JR, Tk 96,500 to Tk 99,500: a 48 V 95 Ah lead acid battery of about 4,560 Wh, 100 to 120 km and a reverse gear.
• GT Max, Tk 1,30,000: a 48 V 2,500 Wh lithium battery, 100 to 110 km and a 5 to 6 hour charge.

Within a family the sheets match almost word for word, so the choice there is the body and the colour. The JR Vive and JR V2 describe a hydraulic front brake without saying disc; the other sheets say disc. The shop also lists a JR Lite V2 with no specification table, which is left out here.

The warranty is the real difference

Green Tiger prints its warranty on every sheet, which no other electric brand with prices on this site does. The motor is covered for a year and the controller for six months on every model. The battery is covered for 3 months on the lead acid JR and JR Lite models, and for a year's replacement with two years' service on the lithium GT Max. Lengthening the battery cover from 3 months to a year costs Tk 30,500 to Tk 33,500, the gap between each JR and its Max. Green Tiger publishes no weights, tyre sizes or ABS.
